I totally agree with that assumption. Even though some of these dinosaurs looked to be quite bulky, I don't think they had the fat reserves that modern mammals have, or if they can even same the same type of fat.

Hi Polar

I believe that dinosaurs probably had fat reserves comparable to modern day crocodilians, maybe some species of birds like ostriches. Although low, no animal can have 0% body fat. Maybe a low of 3% at minimum.

The "0% body fat" title was just an attention grabber, @Polar and I discussed that on the pages prior.

Thought we could gather great images and videos of shoulders and necks from felines, which is a thing many people are asking me about.

Mane-less male lion, what a beast! Very fun and impressive to see what the mane actually hides from us.

Here you can compare him to a lioness!

Great post Patherinae, that was kind of my point before I got  banned, the mane does hide a lot of the musculature of the male lion.  That seems to be a key area where they posses a lot of strength compared to other bigcats.  The leopards for their size can also have surprisingly strong necks.

This pic really shows what a male lion can look like without the mane.

And these two pics of the male lion Kovu also a great example of how a large male lion can look without the mane.  Important to note, this lion was passed its prime, it died just recently, but still quite strong looking in the shoulders and body.
