Maps of Sabi Sand Coalitions Males and Prides

Updated map of prides and lions of Sabi Sands since the last update i posted in November last year:

Updates:

- 3 Tumbela males become new dominant coalition in western sector and Othawa pride
- previous king, legendary Hairy Belly Matimba, after few months of nomadic life, was not seen since mid February, and is pressumed to pass away
- I removed 8th Nkuhuma lioness, who was often alone, because she was not seen for quite some time
- Mhangeni pride lost 2/3 old cubs, but recently new cub was born 
- Kambula pride lost all 3 of their cubs from last year, they are currently giving birth to new cubs, still their numbers are unknown and will be added in next map
- Torchwoods are also in process of giving birth to cubs, currently they are on 6 cubs, but might be even more soon
- Southern Pride cubs are alive and well, after not been seen for a while in late 2020 
- legendary Sparta female pass away in late January, leaving her 1.5 yrs subadult daughter alone, young female was seen alive in late March at Lion Sands, 2 months after her mother pass away
- young Sand River female rejoined her pride after hanging with her brothers
- Plains Camp young males are again being seen around Sabi Sabi recently 
- still no updates on Fourways pride, so their numbers and members might not be up to date Reply
