There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

After the capture of T-24 Ustad, 5 years old T-57 Singhst had occupied some parts of his territory. Then T-39 Noor was seen with him as a new partner shortly after. After some days, T-39 and T-57 were sighted mating on October 2015 in the evening drive.

On 15 October 2015, everybody got relaxed when T-57 and T-39 (with her two cubs known as T-88 and T-89.) sighted together in zone no. 2. It was a great because it indicates that T-57 had accepted T-39 with her two cubs, probably world's first experience to see a male tiger adopting some other male's cubs.

That's a misleading account, both of the sub adults were completely uneasy and ran off, neither were seen in the area again. There's a video of the interaction as well which I can post if you haven't seen it yet?

No, i don't think i have. Do show the video... & thanks for the correction.

So basically, he didn't go into the trouble of killing the cubs & they moved away by his presence?

Here you go @Rishi

To me it looks like only a matter of time before he decided to engage.

Edit: that's not the full video, let me look around and find it.

I wonder why they'd use such a misleading description?

Both T88 and T89 were male cubs.
T88 was called Kalua or Kallu (dark striped one).
T89 was called Dholya (light striped one).
T88 was said to have settled in Jumar Babadi area and Amreshwar range.
T89 whereabouts are unknown.

Father and son (T 30 and male cub of T 33)
Kanha Tiger Reserve, Mandla. MP
26 May 2017
It was a happy family time where all 6 ( T 30, T 33 and 4 cubs) were seen together. One gaur was killed in the early hours of 26 May by T 33. When the gaur was down, all the cubs started feeding while animal was taking his last breath. Then T 30 also joined the feast. Once they had enough of it, they all nestled together in the nallah bed to spent rest of the day.

This image is clicked by RO Mukki by his mobile. One cub is not in this frame, but T 30, T 33 and 3 cubs can be seen. No I don't have the images of tigers on the kill. The mahouts did click in the morning when they were looking for T 30.
