There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Along with 3 lionesses, there is a sub-adult brother and sister who, after several failed attempts at hunting by themselves, returned to mom's side. Most exciting is that two of the lionesses show signs of having young cubs - meaning there is more than the one known set of little lions out there somewhere. We just can't wait to meet the rest of them!!

They are in two separate groups, 4 and 2. Although I don't know their faces yet so I don't know which group has the Giraffe, only see two males in the video

Saw a fair amount of lions moving about lately. Saw Birmingham breakaways down south around Makanyi Lodge. Also saw Xikukutsu's flirting with Birmingham lioness "Stompie". Young Giraffe male and Monwana male also about a few times. Avoca"s struggle with all the males moving about and covered 30 km in the 2 days  I saw them.

I did actually called it like week or two ago there saying Birmingham Breakaway pride seems like natural next target for Xikukutsu males once there are done mating with Black Dam females which should be at any time now Grin It might  be difficult path through. Competition in the arena might be huge. Ross males are still dominant in the arena. It might be that 2 of Black Dam males (or more if other 4 will join up with them) will want to compete for that pride. They were already seen trailing this pride some time ago. Monawana/Giraffe and Birmingham Breakway males also were making some territorial calling around there. There are also Birmingham/Torchwood in he arena looking for some pride to take over so there are lots of partys potentially intrested in that pride.

Might be, might be not. That mentioned partys might join competition, doesn't mean they actually will. We will see which of the mentioned will really push for a takeover.
