@BA0701 It’s quite concerning the lack of sightings of these two, however if the recent reappearance of the Skorro Male (son of Junior & Buddy) is anything to go by there is every chance they’re still out there and we’ll get an update soon.

Agreed, especially when we were getting semi-regular sightings of them, to suddenly nothing on either one.

The youngs river pride after the confrontation with the Nharhu male apparently left the area, they were seen in Klaserie and now recently back in timbavati, they do not seem very interested in taking over the western pride for now and the son of the Skorro males is back with pride.

I think this is the right place for this.  Another bad day for a lion.  This is really not great.

Mods, please move if needed, or advise if I should put this elsewhere.

he seems reasonably well after the attack, it's just that the rough terrain probably makes him feel more pain than normal when moving around. I hope your brother is alive, he could have been another one caught by the youngs river pride klaserie

I'm honestly not 100% sure on either at the moment. I've asked around but haven't heard anything back at the moment.

Post contains updated information. It's said that he was attacked by 4 males but which males weren't stated at the time of the posting. Not sure on the status of his remaining brother.

I assume those are 4 young RP males, who recently killed Skorokoro.

Not great, they are 2vs4.

They are 2v4 if the tawny Birmingham is still alive and well after these clashes.

These 4 RP males are a menace, no doubt. Maybe the Birminghams would have been able to deal with them if they were still 3.

update: his brother was seen with him today, so the white male was probably caught alone, I would say he was very lucky or did very well in the fight to get out without major damage, thanking the source and giving credit: lionsightins on IG

If I recall, nobody really knows.  He just wasn't there one day and everybody hoped he'd return and never did.

The actual cause was never confirmed, but I remember at the time after they had killed 1/3 River Pride males they got involved with the remaining two males again. It was at that time that he disappeared although they mentioned seeing the three of them together after that there was never any image of it again.
