There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Lions of Tanzania (Serengeti, Ngorongoro and others)

Mexico Gamiz Offline
Lion Enthusiast

As I believe good nature pictures have the potential to inspire  love for the world’s increasingly pressurized wildlife, on this occasion, I am sharing this early morning image of a lion drinking. I had been tracking this lion for a few days in the Ndutu region and had, over the days, photographed him mating, fighting and lazily lording it over his pride.

While making this picture, I used a high ISO despite good sunlight in order to obtain decent depth and a fast shutter speed.

Feel free to share.
Picture made at Ndutu Serengeti National Park. Tanzania.

Technical Info:
Camera: Nikon D4
Lens: Nikkor 70-200 F2.8, at 135mm
Aperture: F4
Shutter speed: 1/4000
ISO: 3200
