There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Zhayynn James: " Positioning yourself for the best possible angle is something tag you have to consider in advance. While it may appear that I’ve made this image by lying at ground level, that wouldn’t actually be possible with a lion on the prowl. In reality, I was in my 4x4 and had requested the guide to drive ahead of this lion and down, off the track at a place where the land slopes away. This brought the window to eye-level and all I had to do was wait for the lion to walk into the frame. Of course, I had to seek the permission of my fellow photographers in the vehicle and it really helped to have their trust in positioning the vehicle. "
