There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Lions of Tanzania (Serengeti, Ngorongoro and others)

Lisa Antell: " Lions for Lockdown.

We are all absolutely fine but I still had a rather tumultuous emotional day. I am an optimistic cheerful person by nature but even I get a bit freaked out by the pandemic. This beautiful young lioness was enjoying some “me” time in the bright early morning sun while her two tiny cubbies were stashed in a drainage line just below her. I like to think of this view of her as her Madonna meditation moment!

Lamai Wedge Northern Tanzania (a fabulous gorgeous area of the Serengeti by the way....especially off season!) she makes me feel calmer and more centered.  "

Lisa Antell: " The young lioness in the previous post deciding that today was the day to march her very young cubs a long way across the open grasslands to meet the rest of the pride! The little ones were a bit tired of the big expedition and complained to their mama. A beautiful pride male followed at a respectful distance as he escorted them on their mission and provided security backup!
