There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Coming to 13 yrs of age, this lionesses seen it all, from being under control of their fathers Mapogos, to Selatis and Majingilanes, and finally S. Matimba males.

They still might have a good year or 2 in them, but with them and Hairy Belly coming to this age, and when 3 young boys leave the pride in  a 1.5-2 yrs, future on the pride will lay on Sassy and her daughter, as only 2 lionesses their lives will be much harder to survive and keep Othawa legacy alive.

It seems that 1 subadult lioness rejoined her mothers.

I think there where 2 cubs from 1 lioness, now only 1 with them..

Video of them in February 2019 :

On the video they look like 1.5 yrs old lions, so they might not be even 3 yrs of age yet.
