There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Disappeared when Orpen males where starting to be seen with his mothers.

Either chased in Kruger or killed by them, although there was sightings where they where tolerating him, but you never know with males.

Either went nomadic or got killed by Orpen males. Reports were that Orpen males were showing agression towards him when they were taking over Koppies pride and he just dissapeared soon later.

Reminds me of his uncle, Tinyo, with that lip.

How many sub males left? 2?

As supposedly 2 left/disappeared.

Any update on Mandevu Tintswalo boy? I hope his lionesses let him hang around and not chase him away like they did Ncila. If he can get back to his pride and eat then he should be ok.
Red Road is a beast and Mandevu shouldn’t have been in RR territory.

not a good angle to see what kind of damage was done, I was expecting to see something like this

in the videos Mandevu looked helpless and not really using his hind legs to scratch out RedRoads eyes, I was thinking they were in this position for a long time and he was too exhausted, but maybe RedRoad didn't have a hold of his nose for very long?

Looks like hold by RRM was not that great as it looked, and Mandevu defence was good, fight prob ended soon after.

When 2 cats fight, cat who is down is not neccesary losing, in that position cat defence is much stronger and better.

Externally doesnt look serious. To them, the wild animals, it's just a scratch.

But internally? Different story. We cant see/tell yet
