Young male still limps slightly, but not as bad as it was. 2 oldest lionesses are Matimbas sisters, so from there comes their size.

The old Birmingham females who have sired to the Matimbas and the Birmingham lionesses were really big females.
These 2 old lionesses has got his size 100%

His bad hip is not in view, but he doesn't look too bad from this angle.

Yet losing mane is a clear sign of being in bad condition.

A recent sighting of the Red road male.
at the age of six years old. He is an absolutely beast. Probably one of the biggest lions in the Manyeleti with the Orpen male and DM Avoca.

So interesting to hear that he wanders into Kruger occasionally... I wonder if he actually has another pride there. Hope he still continues to spend time with the Nharus and all those cubs.

Well... there are no more male lions in Manyeleti at the moment so it can be :Grin  Red Road male is looking amazing since his mane filed up.Giraffe males bloodline goes strong.  Btw coming back to his origins, why actually he was always considered Avoca/Giraffe son while by the time RedRoad was born it was Northern Matimbas who were dominant in the Ngala? Some said recently that Skorro male might be his father as he was seen in Ngala with some cubs, but by that time Skorro pride lived in Ngala so he easly could be just with his natal pride and cubs sired by Matimbas or just male looking for refuge in Red Road female as Matimbas were taking over Skorro pride and forcing out Skorro males from natal pride.

I think that the Red road male was most likely sired by the Avoca/Giraffe males or Skorro Thanda impi.
Matimba didn't controlled the Birmingham pride at that time.

2) - The Imbali pride male often was seen at Manyeleti. He is a big champ. So he can be put on the list

Could be interesting know it. However the information not is much good at the moment. The Nharhu males and River pride also are moving to east of Timbavati and deeper into the Kruger. Will be really interesting all those movements
