There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Lion predation on warthog... I just try to connect the pictures. The second one has been knowing for a while, I saw the first only this morning on an Instagram site. As for the third the background seems to be the same.

" Arguably one of the most exhilarating encounters to witness on safari is lions hunting buffalo. These two arch rivals met yet again in the Sand River on MalaMala Game Reserve. "

" The full video of the sighting posted last week of the Mangheni lionesses stalking and catching a buffalo The lion pride brought down a buffalo from a large herd close to a waterhole, the buffalo herd returned to the water to drink and tried to rescue their fallen comrade from the lions The buffalo had already taken it's last breath but that did not stop the herd from trying to revive it. Eventually the buffalo herd gave up and the lions returned to feed along with all 12 cubs of the pride. The Mangheni pride are the largest lion pride in the area. "
