There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

@vinodkumarn :

about #736: It would be a pleasure for me to see this video, but having not a facebook account (and willing definitely not to have one), could it be possible to download this video on the Wildfact forum ? Not only for me of course, but also for the non-members of this "community"...

Thank you in advance...

I'm pretty sure that jackal was drunk, probably told his friend, "Steve, I think I am gonna bite that lions tail."

Photos and text by Peter Betts in KNP

No Apologies The Male lion is my favorite Wild Animal . I listened to his distant roars getting nearer in the Thick mist . I parked off and sat in total silence my camera & Lens & Beanbag got sopping wet in the thick dew as I waited in hope . I will never forget that morning as the only sound was my heart beating hard in my chest in anticipation and there he came out of the mist and came right up to my car the only one on the quiet S39 before sunrise

One of 3 Bruisers at the crossroads S39 / H7 / S36.not the tidiest lion in Kruger but full of character.

Sunrise and spotting a big male 500 metres coming down the Sweni Road S126 near the S36 junction I turned sideways and just let him come .2 mins later he stops 1 5 metres from my car and glares at me as he now had to go behind me , too late to move and he had plenty time Lovely soft sunrise shadows on the road .20 mins later it would have been harsh shadows and bright sun light before to change course in the road. Kgalagadi 2016

The original 4 males from Kgalagadi soon formed 2 coalitions ..Bitterbal Nossob were the Senior Coalition and Kalahari Tsama were the Junior Coalition . Bitterbal Nossob are in the Karoo National Park and Tsama was sold to a game farm near Thabazimbi I think and this is my favourite of those 4 Kalahari the day before he was captured and sent to Kuzuko Section .. NW Addo Park where guests at Kuzuko Lodge are able to see him magic specimen . This pic was taken at the old South gate 100 metres north of the Addo Paterson road. NOV.2015.

For those that dont know Addo Park meet Nomad , the big boy at Addo . This is the second time I have ever seen him and I go to Addo often can be likened to looking for needle in a haystack ..He is a good looker
