that's astonishing, " I highly doubt it Rekero break away male one of 3 males,their mothers are daughters of the main Rekero pride.Their 3 mothers were shared by Notch and sons and another group of 2 males called 4km .The 4km have always followed Notch and sons picking up any pride they abandoned till 2013.The Rekero break away and Rekero main pride live next to each other ..Aged around 4 or just under.Not to be confused by the 5 Notch Rekero males who belong to M7 a group of seven Notch grandsons.Ion U  *This image is copyright of its original author A possible son of Long belongs to a group of 4 brothers we suspect are the four sons by Notch and his five sons in the Mugoro pride.Their first pride as a coalition of 6 males . I found an old article from 2008 about the marsh pride and Notch.
The Marsh Lion: September 2008 September 11th, 2008  *This image is copyright of its original author The Marsh Lions are in fine form with three big males ruling the Marsh Pride territory since successfully banishing Notch from the area last June. Notch is still alive and increasingly being given a hard time by the four younger male relatives he has been hanging out with to try and stay out of harms way and find food; Tamu the Marsh lioness raised her two surving cubs from her litter of 2006 (both males) and may even have new cubs by now. But the big story this September is that along with the nine surviving cubs born to the four oldest lionesses in the pride (White Eye and Mama Lugga (Red), Khali’s Daughter (Bibi) and another lioness – possibly Lispy or the Blonde Sister), the three younger lionesses in the pride (all daughters of the older lionesses and 3 to 4 years old) produced a single surviving cub from their first attempts to breed (lionesses often struggle to raise their first litter – they often need time to gain the experience to keep their cubs safe). *This image is copyright of its original author  *This image is copyright of its original author  *This image is copyright of its original author This tiny cub was abandoned by the three younger females on one of their infrequent visits to the rest of the pride. Lionesses without cubs often prefer to spend time away from lionesses in their pride that have formed a crèche, looking for some peace and quiet and the opportunity to feast alone. The single cub is a real survivor – a plucky little female of about 8 to 10 weeks old who is undersized for her age due to being abandoned and with little opportunity to suckle. Visitors to Governor’s Camp/Musiara area have been fascinated by the little cubs battle for survival. While we were in the area we watched as the brave little cub fought for her share of an ostrich that the pride had killed. The nine older cubs are 5 to 7 months old and constantly play with their younger cousin/relative, dragging her along by the scruff of her neck, pulling her by the tail and generally mauling her in a not always playful manner. But each day the little female remains alive the other cubs become more bonded to her – and the greater her chances of survival. She is definitely the tail-end-Charlie whenever he pride decides to make a pilgrimage across its territory. One can only hold ones breath at the thoughts of the dangers that lie ahead – but rather like Solo, a previous star of Big Cat Diary, who survived to adulthood and was marked out by his courage and will to survive, the little female is witness to the miracle of life that we all find so fascinating.http://www.jonathanangelascott.com/main/...mber-2008/

Now the difference between Ron2 one of the two older brothers of Earless born in Rongai currently living on the edge of Olkiombo and in conservancy hopefully still with his brother Alex very rarely seen just a handful of sightings of them they are the two other members of a group of seven males -Notch sons and grandsons called M7 .Normally only the 5 rekero Notch boys are seen.One of the Rekero Notch males looks a lot like Ron 2 very often confused as the same male .Now here is the difference to tell them apart Ron2 has a scar over his eye he currently only hangs with another male his brother called Alex.Ole the look alike one the 5Notch Rekero males a sub group of M7 is named after masai Mara guide Onesmus the name meaning mister in Masai/Kikuyu he has a much longer broader clean face no scars hangs with his 4 other brothers in olkiombo and double cross.while Ron2 is shorter rounder faced with a scar over left eye.So Ron 2 scar over left eye Ole broader longer clean face but both look like their father original 5 notch son called Ron .The 3rd image is "Ole "he is the one people will normally see.Ron2 is very rare to see unless you go out of the park into the boardering conservancy PC UNJay

Maara Lions are special for me. They look huge, beautiful and powerful. The Lion King Notch is famous, below is image of his grandson earless. He is about 4 year old and looks huge and powerful.

Thank to you I have learnt an english word signification that I will never forget: "badass". Being french, till now, I lazily translated "bad" + "ass" in order to guess the right translation. You guess what I think it was... To see you to use this word, hmm weird, I decided to see it in a web dictionary... And it is not at all "bad" + "ass". In the french language it means "dur à cuire" ("hard to cook"). But that is the perfect word I yould use to qualify the male lions. Perhaps, physically they are not the most accomplished big cats, compared with tigers or leopards in terms of suppleness or grace. But yes, among the felines they are the perfect "badass", they have a blasted sturdy character, I love them... Thank you again !
