There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

"After chasing off the Mashaba young female leopard, the Inyathini male stares up at a hoisted impala kill on the high branches of a marula tree. With the Piva male’s demise, we are watching with interest as to whether the Flat Rock or Inyathini male will take over this territory."

For a long time i never seen news on Homelite male. Glad to see him in health. Thanks a lot. For sure, the most mysterious and elusive leopard of Sabi Sand.

He is older then 9 years old I would say he is either 11 or 12, the tattered ears the yellow teeth no way he is only 9.

The broken ears are not always signs of an old leopard. The Bicycle Crossing male had a beautiful intact ears until his end (died at 15 years and 6 months).

They usually break during the fight with other leopards or during the hunting.

Dewane male.

The roar of a leopard, this was in response to a rival male. You can also see the saliva hanging from the chin of this male. Leopard saluvate heavily when they pick up on a rival animal and will roar and scent mark profusely.
