"What do we do on Mondays? We introduce you jaguars monitored by our team! Do you already know #WhoisThisJaguar?

This is Robusto, #jaguar monitored by Onçafari since February 2020! Robusto is a very shy jaguar, difficult to spot, but always provides exciting encounters since he started using @caimanpantanal as part of his living area. He is one of the biggest jaguars monitored by our team! Can you guess the weight of this super cat? 137kg, a huge male!

He is not so habituated, so we don't see him so often, but we are always very happy with his presence"

Nice looking male with unique patterns, I only wished to know more of his interactions with his bro Seven and Seven's whereabouts after they dispersed from each other.

EDIT: Here you can see both playing in 2011, cool knock out Seven gives to Lightning at end of their interaction though.

Massive specimen, easily one of the most impressive I've seen. This picture was shared by a tourist in 2016, I can only imagine all the nice footage that hasn't been released to the public.

Of course this had to be no other than Librao, the massive male I've posted numerous times here. I estimate him at 140+ kg during his prime (he reminds me of Joker), sadly he's most certainly dead by now as he was last seen in 2017.

Here Mr. Barragan from the hato confirming me it's him:

"Beautiful.... I called him LIBRAO. Remembering a man very Llanero (rancher) for his abilities in livestock management and all alike activities..."
Basically a charismatic and strong man from the area, I think the name suited him well!

He also told me Caricare is alive and well in the reserve and the camera traps captured him numerous times last month, new pictures of him and other news will be released shortly.

@Balam  The Beast is here.

Here's my boy Hector male.

credits: Ibrahim Suha Derbent

Too bad he was hidden most of the time with leaves and branches in front but I am already happy to see him again regardless.

In this angle you can see Hector looks so cartoonish, even with his Head further away from the camera compared to his hind legs, it still looks massive.

Impressive Chest Width.

Note the massiveness of his body righ behind. I wonder how much his chest girth would be.

Juru
This month and last month March, 2021

"We spent the afternoon today observing the Juru, a male jaguar we have known since 2015. In 2019 the Juru marched his leg and spent a few months limping, possibly due to some interaction with another male, but he recovered. Today he was super relaxed resting in the shade and posing for the photos"

Here's Ailton speaking of how much larger he is now that he reached his prime at 6 years of age:

@Pckts he probably seemed small to you when you saw him because he was still very young, likely around 3 years of age.

Juru yesterday:

Seems like Juru went through the "Felino effect", a modest male disappears for a while and returns back looking much more massive and strong.

I am glad they're shooting documentaries at Taiamã Ecological Station Reserve as well. That area possess high levels of biodiversity.

Impressive male though, his forehead pattern reminds me of Holyfield male. I wonder if he's already ran into the jags captured by CENAP/ICMBio at Taiamã Reserve.
