We must give him his space or someone is going to get hurt. He has already charged two boats since first spotted on August 2nd. We haven’t seen him since 2015 and now we saw him on the 20 of July! jaguaridproject The jaguar on the photo is Juru, a big male from Porto Jofre ??? jaguaridproject We just got word from one of our dearest tour guides @larissa_pantanal that our mascot and favorite jaguars Patricia, is with cubs! She’s one of the most successful jaguar mothers in the region. Since 2012 she’s had 3 litters so far all making it into adulthood. • • • • • The mother usually prevent the presence of males after the birth of cubs, due to the risk of infanticide. Therefore, the life of cubs is in danger from their own father and other males in the jaguar population. He's such a huge Jaguar and he's from the Southern Pantanal which is far less explored I'm not sure how it compares to Northern Pantanal in terms of Caiman and Capyvara numbers but in the Southern Pantanal is where you usually find Giant Anteaters and Macaws.
