it is interesting to read in this description above that initially they were 7 lions, they lost 2 probably in their first territorial claims, I wonder what coalition killed them,

brothers lions don't do that, Mapogos never did,

so you can suppose that the 5th was sacrificed in order to exhaust the two mapogos for the next days final battle.

watching this video again more carefully, I noticed that the "terrible 4", majingilane are old, their bodies show this, their spine is more visible and their ribs too.

Well sure, but it is life. They've had an amazing life, they've been successful dominant males and, eventually, everything ends. And for the cubs killed in a future takeover, new ones will be born with new blood to strenghten even more the lines of the lions. Reply
