There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

He's looking so regal! The pigment on his nose is still pink, which means that he isn't even 8 years old

The Shimuwini/Mopani males and the Masorini males (this morning)
After more than 15 years, this park never ceases to amaze me ...

For days I have regularly met our 2 coalitions of lions, 3 from Ngobeni and 2 from Masorini, but today the 3 tried to go further south by at least 5/6 km from their usual range , and  they are confronted to the sound of roars ... and  I among them....
