There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

2/4 young Shish male coalition at 1 km south of H6, these two boys in particular bear a strong resemblance to the one-eyed male of the coalition who was their leader and the eldest of them (it is quite possible that the one-eyed male is their father)!

One of the three mighty Mjejane males who are responsible for erasing a whole coalition of 6 male lions!

When the 6 upcoming Vurhami males first entered the Mjejane Game Reserve many people predicted a great future. How should a coalition half the size defend their territory against a force like that? However over the last months it quickly became clear that the Mjejane males weren’t only physically superior but more importantly also in terms of tactical comprehension. In each of the cases that were actually witnessed the three brothers assembled and managed to separate their rivals to create a numerical advantage which resulted in killing them one after one in the process. Something that simply sets the benchmark for territorial behavior in regards of both - efficiency and success.

Are they currently the most powerful coalition of the Kruger National Park?

The Nwaswitsontso Lion Pride. It's amazing that that pride consists of more than 25 Lions. Those three beautiful lionesses keep the pride going.
