There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Magnificent Shishangeni Male Lions. Fathers of the Mjejane males and Vurhami males.
Sadly, now down to two from four originally.

Don't know when it was filmed, but it's good to see how magnificent they really are. Amazing genes.

Some pics of Mjejane males on jock concession two days ago but currently they are 7km away from south Shishangeni and eastern bank Male. They don’t know but they could have clashed already but no visuals yet.

What a Beast!

Stunning shot of The last Eastern Bank Male. He recently managed to make a bond with another lonely male known as “The South Shishangeni male “ That enabled them to confront the young coalitions. They were recently seen imposing their influence in a wide area and controlling two prides ( Windmill and Jock pride ) and now they have new cubs now in Jock pride. Lately there is a threat on the horizon, with other fierce males seen wondering around the borders of their lands. They are called The Mjejane males, we do not know how it will end, but we hope well.

The powerful duo of Masorini males patrolling their territory at H14 near Nandzana turn off, these guys are a very strong duo even though they were outnumbered against the Shimunwini males they never wavered, there was never a physical confrontation but their behavior was very determined!

"Smudge" looking a bit worse for wear last week. He had a bad limp and his mane seems to have lost condition. Let's hope he recovers soon.
