Nope. He ate in the morning, went to the pool then 40 minutes later he was dead.
Very sad

Hello Dark Jaguar

Great post! I was wondering at what time does he say 260 kg in the video exactly?

Aslan (16 years old) currently weighs in at 233 kg and rest are his daughters (Kiara and Leia) and one of his mates (Sera). He had only one son named Luke (4), unfortunately he died of Pneumonia and Aslan has 2 more daughters too. His step brother Aragorn weighs in at 177 kg.

Aslan now has much longer and a massive mane compared to his prime years.

Aslan's Son Luke (4) and other 2 remaining daughters. Interestingly all his daughters are exceptionally large (182-206 kg) except one who is slightly below average.

250+ kg amur 'Oural', I contacted the zoo and the keeper said he weighed 251 kg  4 years before. His brothers are Gamin 276 kg (weighed at 7 or 8 by Craig Kennion) and Igor 235 kg ( at the time of his death.) but all 3 of them are of different litters . They are studbook registered purebred amurs.
The predecessor male weighed 240 kg
This is Oural and he's massive!

I'm aware there are many variations of physical appearances even in Siberian tigers. Some are lanky, long-legged and small-skulled, others are robust, big-skulled and massive. Oural seems to be a robust Amur with large skull.

Yes and so are his brothers Gamin and Igor

Gamin is the most massive of all three siblings and he measured 43.5'' at shoulders in straight line. Maybe other 2 brothers are of the same height and they are comparable to Duisburg male namely Amur who was also measured 43.5'' .

This is Gamin's grandson Altai (4 years old) who was estimated to be 250-280 kg and was responsible for killing a keeper at the zoo. He has the same bulky build like Gamin.

He was 3 or 4 in this pic.

I remember him, we had a discussion a while ago about his skull size. I have posted an image of his skull in a different thread somewhere.

Where did you find the info that Altai is related to Gamin, if you don't mind me asking.
