I think you mess things up, these are Kambula subs in Sabi Sands.

You are correct, entirely mixed up, too much multitasking, and a 145lbs 2 year old puppy going crazy knocking tables over and spilling drinks at the moment.

@sundarbans 2/6 are together in the KNP, they are the oldest of the 6.

4/6 are in the Sabi Sands living as nomads with a sister, previously they had one more sister with them but she managed to rejoin the main pride, recently another Kambula female was seen with them, but idk which one, it was said it may have been one of their mothers.

lol looks like he decided to adopt the same behavior as skorro jr (maybe suicidal? can't predict) certainly doesn't contribute to any good long term effects

Yep, i actually think, if Nhenha doesnt make it, this 2 will eventually link together.

If NK were to join Skorro Jr, the only thing stopping them from holding the ground would be NK's unwillingness to fight. These 2 are in their primes more even than PCM so there'd be nothing stopping them from either chasing PCM back to Singita, forcing them to accept neighbors, or straight up beat them in the field, 2v2 anything can happen, they are smaller but in the peak of their prime plus Skorro Jr has shown to be an amazing fighter already.

But reality is that even if they were to team up they wouldn't be able to hold on due to NK issue and lack of a strong bond between them.

It'd probably be better if they were to team up and then leave Western Sector to try and take on a pride they can hold, leaving Ximhungwes to raise PCM litters in peace.

I think they would be better duo then NK and Nhenha, they are more similar type of lions and more close in age (few months diff), power lvl between them would be more balanced i think, which would benefit NK, he might become more confident in more balanced partnership.

Although, its hard to believe that any new formed coalitions of duos could beat PC boys, who are entering prime years, for that you need have s-tier teamplay and bond, which comes thru years of being together in various situations.

The sighting of NYM and Skorro Jr being close to one another, and that it appears there is no longer a reason that I would think Nhenha and NYM would consider themselves dominant over Ximungwes, I believe this is a very real possibility. I have even wondered about the possibilities, if Nhenha does pull through, of the three of them joining forces, especially considering if Nhenha pulls through he will surely be in a weakened state for awhile, and not be in much of a position for conflict with anyone. I have never seen Skorro Jr as an overly aggressive male, and I am afraid, at least at this point, NYM might not shed the flight instinct that sadly appears to have become a part of his psyche due to having been living as a lone nomad for such an extended period. An extended period with a partner, and being dominant pride males is the only thing that may bring him out of the mindset that has helped him survive for so long.

Only lone male I can think of that has been living as a nomad longer, and has been exceptionally successful at it, is Jesse. He really seems to thrive in those conditions, appearing to not want to have any partners, preferring the life of a lone outlaw. I believe any male lion who can survive the tough conditions of being a nomad for such a long time, must be very smart, able to think and act very quickly. Jesse's encounter with Logol and Half-Tail is very impressive, when you consider he actually got to mate with the female he was after, while gambling with the highest stakes imaginable. Fang's (Blondie) encounter with Ololashe and Kijana was an equally impressive show of intelligence and forethought, though I do not believe Fang had lived as a nomad for such an extended period.

That's why I don't know if a coalition with NYM may be successful because he's done ok on his own as a nomad that may need to learn coalition life style. Especially, a coalition with partners that were territorial before.
