There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

For Javan rhinos, the last holdout may also be a deadly disease hotspot

The Critically Endangered Javan rhino survives in just a single population in Indonesia’s Ujung Kulon National Park.

In addition to environmental threats such as volcanic eruptions and tsunamis, the rhino is threatened by diseases that could be transmitted from both domestic livestock and native wild cattle living in and near the park.

Zoonotic diseases that pose a potential threat include trypanosomiasis and hemorrhagic septicaemia.

Beverly Joubert: " We’ve come such a long way in 5 short years. #rhinoswithoutborders has so far moved 87 of the original 100 target to safety and those translocated rhinos are thriving! We’re doing all we can to continue to keep them (and all their wonderful new babies) safe into the future. This #givingtuesday, if you’re looking for a project to support, there’s a great chance to get to name one of those gorgeous, bouncy little babies -while doing a great thing for the planet too. #Repost @greatplainsfoundation ・・・

26 was the original number of rhinos translocated in Rhino Without Borders. Through the generosity of dedicated conservationists around the world, these lucky 26 rhinos went on to establish new crashes of rhinos in pristine wilderness areas. Join Rhinos Without Borders in celebrating the original 26 by making a gift today and help us “Name-a-Newborn” in the process. http://greatplainsfoundation.com/newborn/
----------
During this holiday season Rhinos Without Borders invites you to help name some of the 30 rhino calves born to Rhinos Without Borders. $25,000 USD covers the costs to monitor and protect a newborn calf and its mother for 3 years. Gifts of any size have the opportunity to suggest a name; which is entered into a drawing and assigned to one of the 30 newborn calves. Join us in helping protect these precious additions to the wilderness and name-a-newborn! "

I went to find the video on the group linked and inserted it normally. Maybe public videos don't appear from mobile so from desktop is better. But I am not sure.
