There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Common eland can also present stripes depending on the population, but their coating tends to be more grey as opposed to the giant eland's more tan bay.

Actually looking at it, it does appear like @Lycaon is right, the first two pictures resemble more commonly eland due to the horn shape and size. I went by the claims of the photographer who stated it was a giant eland.

A perfect example of the difference between a Bull and a big alpha Bull.
Notice the dewlap and neck of the big Bull walking slow in towards the end of the herd.

Beverly Joubert: " A pair of rhinos straddle the horizon, their silhouettes unmistakable against a sinking sun. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to find these animals in the wild as poaching takes its toll. With many reserves shuttered in the fight against COVID-19, opportunistic poachers are taking advantage of a lack of eyes on the ground and rangers must work tirelessly to control the threat. While urban wildlife is rebounding in some places, we still have much to discover about the consequences of a global pandemic on species that rely on protection from people and policy. ⁣ "
