in your starting post, you said something about V7 and I wasn't able to find the time to basically go over that. here it is now.

About his Bloodline (Male Tiger V7)
A new male was sighted at kolara buffer area on 12th December 2016 near Kankajari Area in the afternoon game drive. One of the Guide Ravi Clicked his picture in an impression of Kankajari Male and showed to me that he got a good sighting of Kankajari male, but after looking for images it was sure that he was not a Kankajari Male after cross checking with old images from 2008 finally got his bloodline.
He grew up in a high profile and photogenic family within a large happy litter. V7 grew up as part of a family of four siblings in 2008, under the watchful eye of a male Crooked Tail (Yeda Anna) and his mother Vasanti. Malika and Sonia were his sisters and V6 his beloved brother they all grew up to adulthood around the area known as Vasant Bandara. Seen often as cubs, they learnt to hunt together early with good coordination between the cubs, often bringing down large Sambar deer in the rocky hills of Jamunjhora.
His relationship though with is sisters was never close, and as soon as they were sub adults they parted company and where then seen only in sibling pairs, with the two brothers keeping each other company until Katezari Male, a threatening and domineering male arrived one day on the scene, next day both brother disappeared and now in 2016 after a 7 years gap he was sighted in Kolara Buffer Area....
One more example.
When Cubs have left mother’s range and not established range of their own is known as the transient stage. Female cubs usually carve out a range out of their mother. But the male cubs have to travel much farther to establish their range. They usually scrounge around the fringes of the forest for a few years, silently foraging for food and traversing the territories of many resident males. This is why mortality rates are much higher among male’s transient floaters than among females.
Thanks to Kolara Buffer Guide (Ravi Dharne) for clicking the Photographs and passing it to me a great help from his side.

credits to Jignesh Patel for all of this

Amazing information, thanks for the follow up @Roflcopters

Also have to say Jignesh Patel has been recommended to me by several others including Sandesh Guru for his knowledge of Tadoba bloodlines.

So basically V7 is still at large in the kolara buffer, but what about V6. Do either have alternate names. And news on the status of Malika and Sonia.

Further does anyone have information on the Kuwani sub-adults, male (also known as Mowgli) and the female sibling. Any details with regards to their movements.

Thanks

He was successful, just unlucky with the translocation and and murder of one of his sons and I forget what happened to his brother but I I believe he died an unnatural death too but the females from that litter are still alive.

I know its debated but it's far from certain, I've seen guides say both but Uma tolerated them in his territory, even rested in watering holes together and so on. KF was courting Mahaveer but so was Uma, not seen together as much as KF and her during that season though I will say.

I'm wondering which ones larger, Central Indian tigers like Uma, Jai and Waghdoh or the Northern Indian tigers like those males from Assam or Terai? Can someone gives some comparisons? I think in terms of skull size, maybe the northern specimens take that because those big central Indian tigers while they are large they have smaller head in relation to their body unlike the northern specimens although not necessary.

How time flies. Still extraordinary that umarpani killed him in a fight even though Kingfisher was the slightly larger cat at that time .

Hello Friends,

below is update on few of the tigers with my comments. this information is as known to me by talking to various people during tadoba visits last fortnight and over last many years. I may be wrong on few things.

1. Ookhan (is he the same as v7, if yes lineage can be ascertained), lineage unknown, location Brahmapuri forest division – shailesh comment – He is not V7 . He is son of Laxmi and Yeda anna. Litter of 4 . Brother of choti tara. He must be around 8-9 years now.

2. Ginaji/kali (is he the same as the new navegaon male), lineage son of Namdev and Nakkati tigress, location navegaon and Tadoba

3. Junabai, lineage unknown, location Madnapur buffer kolara range

4. Maya, t13, lineage daughter of nira/bhala and w male, location Tadoba and paundharpauni – Shailesh comment – Maya is daughter of Nira/Bhalla and Hilltop male not W male.

5. Choti Tara, lineage unknown, Tadoba and mohurli range - – shailesh comment – she is daughter  of Laxmi and Yeda anna. Litter of 4 . sis of of choti tara. sHe must be around 8-9 years now. She is not in Mohurlil she shifted in her sub adulthood to Tadoba area, Jamni lake.

6. Matkasur, lineage son of jamunjhora female and katezari male, location Tadoba – shailesh comment – No; he isn’t son of jamunjhora female and katezari male. He is from matkasur area just outside kolara. He is son of Namdev/Saturn/ also known as original matkasur male. Not sure of mother. He is apprx. 8 years old.

7. Chota matkasur, lineage son of Matkasur and Choti Tara, location Tadoba

Couple things i wanted to address, Khali is not Wagdoh’s son. he’s a male from an unknown ancestry. rumored to be one of Coal mine male’s son, same male that ruled the entire buffer before Wagdoh made his way there. Pasha was also fathered by Coal mine Male.

28) the other Sharmili is from Kolara buffer and has cubs with Kankajhari male, it’s weird to have two tigresses with the same name but that’s very typical of Tadoba.
