No info/update on Dark Mane, last time i saw him was on safari live last week. 


pearsonphotography posted a photo of him in instagram today but i dont know if its really from today or recent. 

He may still be in djuma or may have gone north in search of the talamati pride.

@Spalea indeed, a very good pic of him, the bigger of the three north avoca. 

curious that he seems to have guessed that we were talking about him and decided to appear today on the safari live show.


I don't understand anything about lion injuries but the paw / leg injury it seems to be practically the same with little evolution. for him still to be in djuma is because he does not feel comfortable walking long distances and he should feel more comfortable and secure with the other two brothers and NK lionesses around or the sense of females on heat makes him to stay in djuma... i really dont know... for sure he will get better and hope to see him back with the talamati soon.

An avoca male lion was following the scent trail of the Nkuhuma pride. He was using the elevation of the termite mound to scan around for them.
