He looks good actually to my eye. Now as he is again eating, I expect he will recover to his normal weight quite fast.

Those Talamati boys are starting to look beastly. I wonder if Imbali male at this point would be able to chasse them around. If he would try then I would not be suprised at all if he would took a beating from those boys.

DM and Talamatis battling over scraps. The male subadults are almost as big as DM now and as a result can go toe to toe with him when battling over a carcass. I wonder if he’ll soon try to chase them out of the pride? Or if he’d even be successful being that it’s only one of him and 2-3 of them? I think he might need his brothers to help push them out unless the females joined him in expelling his sons from the pride. Anyway, it’s great to see them feeding again. Most of them still look a little skinny. Hopefully they’ll continue to be successful in catching meals frequently and will get some large catches where everyone can get well fed.

One of the Northern Avoca males surveying their kingdom, which unfortunately do them did not last for a very long time as the Ndhzenga males pushed them back north.

N. Avoca males are here sleeping but only Mohawk is out in the open. He is well fed so it looks like these two have been on a recent kill somewhere.

DM in Elephant Plains area. His stomach looks as if he may have had something to eat, but honestly it’s hard to tell with the way the video is shot. He’s looking pretty good though from what I can see. As I understand, the Talamatis are quite a ways away. Hopefully they’ll meet up again soon.

More footage of DM. He’s back on Djuma. If the earlier footage was correct showing him in Elephant Plains, he’s walked a long way in a short amount of time unless the earlier footage was from a few days ago.

He appears in good condition here, but could probably use a meal.
