I saw that video. I have no idea what Tanzanias policy is on Vet intervention but I would hope this lion gets some treatment. Kruger sucks that they don't help and in the Mara the Kenyan govt has a policy to help its animals which is great. Pains me to see this boy hurt like this even tho it looks like it doesn't bother him. Do we know how he got this injury? Looks like maybe a bullet or something?

Seems too big to be a bullet wound - I was thinking a gash from a buffalo’s horn.

It’s astounding that he’s still alive, let alone behaving normally, with such a fearsome wound…really goes to shows how resilient big cats are.
