Thanks @Rage2277 for the update. One name I missed yesterday was the Patorwala male, we don't seem to have much information about him, the only video that I have seen of him is of his crossing the road. He is also huge but do we know his lineage by any chance? or if he has any offspring?

Rudra and his Hardships ??
✨?
Rudra is a dominant male tiger who reigns over the huge territory in Tadoba National Park. This territory was once ruled by Tiger Matkasur alone but currently is shared by Rudra and his brother Tala
?✨
Rudra has mated with prominent tigress of tadoba like Maya, Choti Tara and Zoya but is now facing challange from his brother, Tiger Tala
✨?
These two brothers had a hard fight with the former emperor of Tadoba 'Matkasur'. It was not just these two but Matkasur was also challenged by his own son Chota Matka and thus had to forfeit the territory.
?✨
After that skirmish, Rudra and Tala chased Chota Matka away from the territory aswell and Rudra then clashed with his brother and managed to push him away from the territories of all the female tigress.
✨?
Right now, Tala is challenging Rudra again. If Rudra is subdued and chased away, all the cubs he has fathered will be at a huge risk
?✨
Rudra not only has to fight for his territory now, but also needs to protect his cubs. Let's see how this story pans out

CM is in the Navegaon Buffer atm.

Here's CM and Jharani were seen mating last month

I'm not too sure what type of "different beast'' he is, he looks to be a standard male with a lighter frame. I'm sure most other good sized males can give him a run.

Wasn’t the male he allegedly killed a sub adult? And the person you’re quoting is a lodge owner same as the one I quoted.
At the moment he’s in the buffer zone and there are always a few males throughout those areas who will come and go. There’s too much hype and not enough fact based information.

Rudra Patrolling his Territory
??
We covered a lot about Rudra in the last post, be sure to read his story. One thing I forgot to tell is yes he had a skirmish with his brother Tala recently after a long truce
?✨
Both Rudra and Tala are dominant Males from the same litter and share Tiger Matkasur's old territory at the Tadoba range. Most of the prominent female tigers have mated with Rudra and if Tala comes out on top, All the cubs Rudra has fathered will face a huge threat.
✨?
Sighting Rudra petroling his territory with such vigor during a safari was a huge relief. Of all the times, he needs to be vigilant and defend his territory from all the intruding males including his brother ' Tala '

surely a 3yr old can take on a 5yr old tiger who isn't that big and he clearly held his own..so what are the facts? tigers aren't really territorial and just share the same areas and only fight for females?..how do we know when a tiger is more dominant than another? and last i seen balram and yuvraj are in rudra and tala's areas

2 big male leopards clash in a bloody fight

"One of the most memorable sightings of my career happened one day while working in the Manyeleti game reserve. Driving in the most southern part of the reserve my tracker gave the distinctive hand signal and brought the vehicle to a stop pointing out an impala carcass hanging high in a marula tree on the right hand side of the road, and a big male leopard at the base looking very angry at us. But the anger wasn't because of our arrival, without any warning a deep growl come from the left side of the road and a yellow flash crossing the road to the male under the tree. In a blink of a eye the two colossal cats engaged in a battle that lasted about 3 minutes. This was obviously a battle for territory and one that would most likely end in death. We watched the scene in complete silence, my heart was racing out of my chest as the sound of nails and teeth ripping into flesh was deafening.

Eventually the cats parted from each other, completely exhausted and drenched in blood we decided not to follow them and let the beast tend to their wounds."
