There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Cleopatra and Scarface.

For years they have dominated the backwaters and raised a flurry of cubs together. Watching their relationship grow over the years has been one of the highlights of my life. It is uncommon to see such loyalty between cats but for the past decade, these two have stayed true to each other. Scarface, like any male, loves to wonder but to see Cleo stay loyal to him, is something very special and magically uncommon. Usually females will mate with multiple males so their cubs have a higher chance of survival. I’ve seen this with Boor, Storm, Marble, Katte and other females but never have i ever seen Cleo mate with anyone else but Scarface. They are the reason why i chose to dedicate my life to this forest.

Here’s a picture of them having a routine squabble over the tricky art of love making on a tree. Here’s to many more love bites and cubs!
