There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
Bikash R. Das was observing this large male tiger in the Bandipur Tiger Reserve in October, 2012 from a distance of 25 m. Suddenly from the other side a vehicle approached and halted within one meter of the cat. The photographer, seen here in the jeep, was willing to risk his life and that of his four children in the jeep in order to get the perfect shot. This is the ugly side of conservation photography that needs to be tackled correctly. How do you think we can effectively promote ethical photography and tourism? Leave your comments below.
