Golden Girl.....
She is Jhurjhura Tigress, the First Tiger I sighted in the wild. Sadly, She died on 18/05/2010 coz some influential people entered the park beyond park timings and are accused of hitting her with their vehicle. At that time she had 3 small cubs of 6 months old, one of the cubs too died later on. Despite a strong demand of a CBI enquiry in the whole episode, local CID enquiry was done and no one has been brought to justice till date. The death of this beautiful and iconic tigress leaves behind too many unanswered questions like Why influential people are allowed entries in parks during non tourism hours? Who gives such permissions? Why the enquiry of the incident was not handed over to the CBI? Why no conviction so far? This is a death that occurred right in the core of the forest so where is the accountability?
