There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Rage221 I thought the same thing but then again, the highways down South do look like that and Muthanga Wildlife is a sanctuary indeed. It's just another name for Wayanad wildlife sanctuary. sort of how Nagarhole is also known as the Rajiv Gandhi National Park.
here's another male on the highway who narrowly escaped (below)

I feel like tigers from down South have gotten too used to the "highways" and that's the worst for their long term survival. I remember reading a study not too long ago that said that Tigers from Nagarhole are significantly losing their fear of vehicles.
here's also a map of most of the South Indian Tiger reserves and the highways, take a look.. it seems like highway is at every corner.
