Impressed by the size of Jamuntola he was surprisingly close to Umarpani in size. Much bigger than I would have thought, just goes to show pictuers can fool you.

He definitely looks to have put on some mass and head size but he still looks a bit smaller than Umarpani.
More impressive to me was that they fought off and on all day and Jamuntola held his own.
Regardless of the final outcome, he's an impressive Tiger. Reply

More impressive to me was that they fought off and on all day and Jamuntola held his own.
Regardless of the final outcome, he's an impressive Tiger.

Yes I see that he’s smaller atleast lighter, but was much closer than what I would have expected from seeing pictuers of him. 
Yes extreamly impressive, some attitude on this guy. He does actually looks pretty mean as well haha.

Nauradehi Wildlife Sanctuary located in Madhya Pradesh hadn’t been home to tigers for nearly a decade. It is a vital 1200sq.km area of forest as it has connectivity to Panna through a wildlife corridor which a tiger traversed in 2014.

Nullah wali baaghin was the sister of the famous Collarwali from Pench. She gave birth to 11 cubs and died prematurely (suspected poisoning). One of her 3 month old cubs was taken to Kanha and was raised in an enclosure for the next 2 and a half years.

So, this captive raised tiger was translocated to Nauradehi and has given birth to 3 cubs (her code name being N1) sired probably by Kishan (N2) a tiger from Bandhavgarh who was also brought to Nauradehi. There is also a rumour that another male has come to Nauradehi most probably from Panna and therefore this tigress has been keeping her cubs tucked away as they were born in July.
