I think i read somewhere that current members of Mbiri pride are 2 Matimbas, 3 Thanda Impis and 1 Orpen females, alongside few cubs.

Idk if that info is before or after that.

I remember @criollo2mil saying a while ago that there were 2 Matimba daughters and 4 Thanda Impi daughters, so it might be one of the TI girls that was killed.

King Red Road on a patrol, scent-marking, doing his thing as usual.

Safari guest says she thinks he looks thin, but guide/ranger says he does not. I can see what the guest means but Red Road has more of an agile build for a male lion of his strength. We saw in the fight with Kambulas, for instance, that they were bulkier than him.

I think location is around what they call 'main dam', the waters in the middle of Manyeleti, part of is territory.

Next video is of Mbiri pride. Mandevu, Orpen Mbiri young male, Mbiri subadult also there, and the cub.

Credits to Vestment.

Mandevu Tintswalo, Mandevu's subadult son, the Orpen son, the cub and one of the females ( maybe Orpen's sister? ), all having a drink:

The cub, IIRC he's male, probably Mandevu's & Ncile's son, but nobody knows for sure, could be the son of the Orpen subadult or maybe even someone else:

Yeah the cub is male. It still looks a bit malnourished and fragile. Previous litters had the same problem (many died unfortunately). I wonder why. Just speculating but could this be the result of inbreeding?

For me it's a lack of strong pride male as it seem Mbiri Pride seems to be the punching bag in Manyeleti as Nharu Pride w/ Red Road, Mongawane Males, and sometimes Mbiri Males just stroll in the Mbiri Pride territory for sometime and wreck some havoc with no real protection just until Mandevu returned alone from Kruger they really lack the fighting power to dissuade other pride or coalition to roam in their territory with that maybe they (especially the mother lioness responsible for milk or hunting) become stress  with having to avoid the coalition or pride.

But the Mbiri Pride really do need to have a new dominant male as that malnourished and fragileness of the cub maybe attributed to inbreeding.

Mandevu and Mbiri Orpen Male:
Mandevu has a gash on his face on this video and it does seems they are really forming a coalition as even the Mbiri Orpen Male is scent marking in front of Mandevu.

Also where did the Orpen Male and its coalition, the father of the Mbiri Orpen Male came from have forgotten in my mind?

1/2 Orpen male known as Jr, believed to be the father of the Mbiri subs ( because his partner was in very bad condition during the time of the conception, possibly didn't mate ) was born in the Nkuhuma pride sired by the 6 Matimba males.

The other Orpen male, Buddy, is of unknown origins, Jr showed up with him one day after returning from Kruger.

Speculated to be Skybed origin, as he had very similar face to 1 of Skybed males and emerged in their territory as young male (obviously we cant confirm it).
