There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Toninas, River Dolphins (Inia geoffrensis)  they are the largest river dolphins in the world with males measuring from 2,32 to 2,55 mt with a very few reaching 2,80 mt and   weight from 154 to 180 kg, females are smaller  measuring up to 2,15 mt and 150 kg their average size is 2,00 m and 100 kg. They feed almost exclusively on fishes including piranhas, they are very good controlling piranha numbers, they feed on small turtles and crabs. They are doing very good in the Venezuelan Rivers because people don´t hurt them.
