There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Selati 2's health deteriorated quickly, having looked good in November 2012, and then by April 2013 he is very thin and sickly looking. My guess would be TB, from his appearance, and sadly that is a very painful and prolonged way to go.
The author of the post mentions the condition of male no.2 in the comments of one of his Facebook posts. He claims he heard different stories...
Selati #2 could have been injured in some territorial fight (Majingilane). Which I particularly doubt, since he never had exposed wounds on any occasion...
Another story mentions that he was kicked in the ribs by a buffalo in some situation... (which could have caused internal injuries). which i believe has a greater chance of being true.
