There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Not knowing the particulars, I have to imagine that the current lion dynamics of Sabi Sands is likely the historically typical layout, with mostly one or two dominant males in smaller areas prior to the arrival of the Mapogos. Perhaps things are returning to some sense of normalcy, this many years later?

Well, this is just current situation, even before Mapogos there where their fathers, 5 West Street males controling big portion of SS.. Then the Mapogos came, Majingilanes etc.

Big coalitions are rare, but its only a matter of time when we will se another one controling big portion of SS, maybe 4 N'waswitshaka's are those in the future.
