There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I have no idea. In fact, if not for this group in facebook(CLaW) were photographers upload pics of leopards and from a couple of documentaries, I would knew next to nothing about Indian leopards.

No idea, but there are quite a few images of them, so they definitely thrive there just like they do in most other places.
What a cat!

That's good info. I wonder what are the variations, according to the strenght of each individual leopard.

Santhosh Narayan:
Scarface well known Leopard at Kabini is also the first leapord sighting at Kabini for me. He challenged the resident male and failed and had to walk off from the territory. Lucky to witness the moments where scarface approached the territory with a lot of growling making his presence felt and left with a silence
