There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

^Superb clean video after a long time. Thanks for sharing.  Like

They both look 100 kg above so on an average Tiger takes 10 minutes to kill an equal weight wild boar.

The female is collared and location is said to be tadoba so it must be Choti Tara.

Post #893; This is why I view the Russian Far East as the... ( seeking words here )... most high-voltage wild location on earth. Here we have moose ( called elk in Russia ), the Russian wild boar which is a savage fighter and capable of weighing 800+ pounds ( 363 kg ), the Siberian tiger and the Ussuri brown bear ( black grizzly ). Fantastic video GrizzlyClaws.

From Kenneth Anderson's Book

Sorry for the sideways image, I'm not sure why it posted like that.

Anyway, this was the finest male he saw and while his prey choice was always the largest bulls he was quoted as being one of the more cowardly tigers Anderson encountered. I haven't finished the book yet but thought this chapter and predation was interesting.
