There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

The West Street Males accepted Makhulu.  The Roller Coaster Male accepted Solo.  The Mohlabetsi Male accepted a nomad and also allowed his sons to stay.  They were going to be a force if the Machaton Males hadn't shown up when the sons were still so young.

The South Shishangeni male accepted the last of the Eastern Bank Males.  They may have both been nomadic, though.  I don't really know SS's backstory.

Excuse me if this has already been answered.  I haven't checked the forum in a couple of weeks and I'm reading it in order instead of working backwards.

This seems like overkill.  All it takes is one bad season (or a really large coalition) and the lion population could be decimated.  The reserve isn't fenced in anymore.  Lions and their game can come and go as they please.  If the there isn't enough game to sustain the lions they'll go to a different reserve and eventually things find some semblance of balance.
