Just measure the broadest part of its skull, and also the width of its upper jaw. Reply

So the newest version of the replica skull of Panthera atrox is basically accurate, the length of the skull is practically nailed, while the width is a bit off, maybe it was due the lack of better instrument. Reply

@GrizzlyClaws , I actually have the same caliper and it is very accurate, to the hundredths place. The replica is probably off, but that's to be expected. Sometimes authors take measurement a bit differently as well. Reply
