@Roflcopters You can find all the updates of tigers on tiger nation. Katezari male is also called amitabh. Here is the article  https://www.tigernation.org/tigers/amitabh
Rest of tigers too have their nick names through which we can gather info. Contacting photographers too may help.

Unfortunately tigernation has kind of fell off. Not nearly as updated as it once was, I think the Facebook boom has made sharing info a lot easier. If you notice, the latest image of katezari is back from 2014.

Yes pckts, sorry i did not notice it. The craze that was there for B2, Bamera, Bokha, wagdoh,madla is not there for current tigers. Those tigers are very much popular. It takes time for new generation of tigers that has got that much popularity.

Tigernation was never appealing to me, I think the website had potential if maintained and updated properly but that never seemed to be the case and eventually the website died out. I wasnt too impressed, i kind of wanted it to work out. Oh well.

Check out this MONSTER!
The famous Banda - a huge former dominant male tiger of Kanha zone (most notable for his partly cut tail and a torn ear).

I never imagined him to be this big. He appears bigger than madla easily, perhaps slightly smaller than konda. I was thinking him to be slightly smaller than madla, but he is even bigger. Thanks for the picture pckts.

He's a big boy, but I don't think he is in madla's category but either way, it's way to hard to tell off one picture that doesn't show his entire body. All I know is that he is a large tiger, that is for sure.

I saw this male 3yrs ago in dighdola karai ghati square and munna successfully pushed him out of his territory. Till the time was working in kanha I never saw this male. Does anyone have record about this tiger ? Rachit Singh ?

Yes, or the correct thread is  "B2 and other great tiger pics from India"?

I reply here because Wagdoh is in Tadoba Tiger Reserve, but i've seen that other pics (for example of Wagdoh) are posted in "B2 and other great tiger pics from India" thread. What is the right thread?

"B2 and other great tiger pics from India" is only for Bandhavgarh tigers and Ranthambore tigers?

@Ngala,
"B2 and other....." Is common thread to post images of tigers from any corner of India. So you can post images from central, south, north and nort east india.
"Tiger of central India" is thread to post images from specific region in india that belongs to central part, example Pench, Kanha etc...

So "B2 and other...." thread is kind of super set of thread "Tigers of central..." in case you are posting tiger image. You are free to choose any of them.

I agree it is something confusing while deciding where to post, but you can post images in super set or sub set threads.

It will be good to post in both threads. There is nothing wrong in posting two times. Two different threads, to be clear. Users who do not know about sub threads can see in B2 and other tigers thread and viceversa (which is rare).
