Not really sassy gingerella junior and the 2 mini matimbas where all together while the two older females went with the 3 Tumbela males then sassy left so she didn’t really get kicked out more like rejected after she tried to return to the pride rejected her and chased her away multiple times It’s very sad tbh So technically the two young othawa girls are the breakaway pride because the two older othawa females left the pride first then sassy joined them OH MY

The Kruger male was seen with the S8 male which was not a violent interaction. They seem to recognise each other.
@Tonpa might be from Kruger male, or even Skybed son.
Interesting that around the time S8 appeared with injury, there was sighting similar to this, between Kruger male and Skybed son in Mluwati Concesion, both where showing fresh wounds on the face.

Nice footage. His mom was watching and almost waiting for him. Still so sad that he died. I knew that the odds were against him, but seeing as how he stuck with the pride for months after the invasion, was hoping against hope for him. The Marthly lioness was seen on the 7th, around Elephant Rock Lookout. She was around Exit Euphorbia Drive on the 11th. On the 18th, she was at Stwise, the last time we saw her this month.
Torchwood Pride - We saw two adult males, five lionesses, and six cubs at Clarendon Dam on the 26th.
Two sub-adult males were at Stwise on the 16th.

Black Dam Males - These two male lions were seen mainly in the northern parts of MalaMala Game Reserve. They spent some time at Mlowathi Dam and were recorded to be there on the 10th, 18th and 24th, the last two sightings of which they were mating with one of the Kambula lionesses. On the 13th and the 14th, they were seen mating with the same Kambula lioness further south along the Mlowathi River. They were found by themselves in the Maponyoleni Donga on the 16th and were last seen this month with an impala kill east of the Mlowathi River on the 27th.

August is the first month the Black Dam males feature in their permanent section! Having established themselves in Eyrefield, it is fitting that they have their own section. They were only seen once this month, midway along the Gowrie Boundary on the 10th .
Members of the STYX PRIDE were encountered on two occasions. Eight members of the pride were at Calabash Crossing on the 4th. On the 27th, two females were with the Southern Avoca male in the Sand River at Verreaux’s Crossing.
Two young male lions from the TALAMATI PRIDE were north of the Nwana Nonanshemeni Donga east of the Mlowathi River on the 16th, finishing off the remains of a young buffalo kill.
Four lionesses from the TALAMATI PRIDE were west of Beaumont’s Camp on the 16th, with a Southern Avoca male trailing them.
