Sighting of Halftail, young male in the clip is from the Acacia Pride. Guessing it was just a chance encounter between the two given that Halftail is roaming around the area.

6 pack males have officially taken over the Marsh...... again! So they have many offspring and sub adults all over triangle as they now control Kitchwa Tembo (River pride), Paradise Pride, Muguro Pride  and Marsh Satelite group. They also have offspring in Topi which they don't control for years now. Now back to the Marsh and they also have offspring here! They're turning out to be an extremely successful coalition! 4 boys left from original 6 Moniko Boys, let's hope they stay around for a while longer!

Bad news in Maji Ya Fisi/Hammerkop. Black Rock Boys Oloshipa killed 2 cows. These damn livestock should be NOT in the reserve. Now we have to worrworry about the stupid herders poisoning or spearing any lions in the area for payback. This is so infuriating,  honestly.

I'll be surprised if they don't retaliate.

Seems they always do, and the local government will do nothing, even though they are breaking the law by even being in there with their cattle.

Halftail and the Acacia Pride young male were seen hanging out with one another. Who knows what or if anything comes from it, it's just nice to see him (Halftail) not completely on his own for the moment at least.

Looks like the time is nearing for the seven (7) Topi Pride young males to make their own way in life. Olepolos, 1/3 Salas males, showing his dominance. They're in the two to two and half year old range.

Three of the four Bila Shaka males (six packers) on patrol this morning. From left to right it’s Kiok, Kibogoyo, and Koshoke, all looking very full from the hippo meal they’d been enjoying. They’re still in the main reserve for the moment and it doesn’t seem like they’re going away anytime soon with their new cubs in the Paradise pride.
