Aslong Sassy or one of the female cubs survives the pride still has a chance. Though depending on how many lionesses make it they may lose territory to the new rival prides in the region.
But keep in mind that most of this is still hearsay.

The reports I’ve seen are that there are only two adults that have been seen w pride for now over a week. ( I’ve confirmed that part via two separate sources)
I think because of this, the speculations are there was some Type of new altercation where the Junior mom was not seen afterwards. That portion (who and how) remains unconfirmed

That’s going wayyyyy Over the ledge. Slow down.
There remains 6 female lions in the pride and over 18 months of age. It isn’t a death sentence on the pride.
Sassy is in her prime too.
A lot can still happen and I choose to remain optimistic that the remaining lionesses will find a way to get as many of these 4 female sub adults to independence

Pretty much. The sad thing is that it isn't even his battle.
I think the when the PC males and Nhenha arrived, it gave the Ximhungwe pride and some breakaway lionesses the opportunity to properly carve out territory for their own. Unfortunately as, the Othawas now have little protection from Skorro, this went at the cost of their territory. But the pride still needs to hunt so they keep bumping into the other groups as they occasionally pursue the same prey.

I agree, I believe the real fight is going to be between the PC males and Nhenha and Nkuhuma. As you said, Skorro Jr and the Othawas were simply caught in the middle of it.

To recap.
1 lioness (Auntie) - KIA.
1 lioness (Jr Mom) and 2 cubs - MIA but reportedly seen after the split up.
1 lion (Skorro) - MIA
1 Lioness (Sassy) and 5 cubs - Not missing.
Its important to note this is yesterdays information updated with Aunties death. Its still possible more lions died in that fight we havent heard about yet or that missing lions reunited.
It's a shame. Today, Sabi Sands lost a legend. Auntie Ottawa will be in every lion enthusiast heart's. She lived a tough and long life,14 years old for any lion in the wild. It's a good achievement
Definitely going to be a real struggle now to keep the five youngsters fed. No fellow lionesses to aid in ambushes nor to protect their kills from Hyenas.
Fortunately its currently the dry season followed by lambing season in November.
