There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

That face looks like Skorro, Jr.  Are you sure it's Mandevu or deja vue?

They’re half-brothers so they’re similar indeed.

Any News on the intruders? With Ncile recovering, this might be the worst time for this coalition to fight off intruders.

Most wide opinion is that Skorro Thanda Impi sired Skorro2, Mandevu and Ncila….and that Sizanani sired Scar, Lambile, and Limper.   If you’ve followed All six lions you’ll see a common thread with the Sizanani boys suffering some type of health challenge common in all three while the Skorro boys all seemed much more healthier.

Im not sure about Mandevu, other ones resemble a lot specific Thanda Impi males, but Mandevu is somewhere in between, he doesn’t have that round muzzle type like Skorro Jr and Nchile.

"A weary female of the Imbali Pride

The Imbali Pride has gone through a difficult few months. A pride takeover by some new males in May resulted in the death of one of the sub adult male cubs and the severe injury of one of the adult females. To add to these woes, the Hamiltons Pride has been pushing further east and deeper into the Imbali Pride’s territory on the Concession. Now, the Imbali Pride is only found on the eastern fringes of the Concession along the boundary with Manyeleti Game Reserve. The pressure from new males and other prides in the area have clearly taken a toll on these lionesses. Only time will tell what becomes of the Imbali Pride and whether they will continue to be seen around the area after which they are named."
