Is his coalition partner Lolparpit still alive and with him?

Lolparpit is still alive, however, he is currently battling a severe injury of his own, on his back leg. They have not been together for over a month now, as Lolparpit is unable to travel due to his injury. If you read back a page or two, in this thread, you can find more info there. Cheers

Anyone able to ID the two lions who just mauled Blondie "Fang" of the Kichwa coalition? Whoever that dark maned male is, he is absolutely huge. Ol' Blondie has had a rough go of it recently. Odd thing is, once the big male begins paying attention to the female, and begins chasing after her, Blondie slowly gets up and begins following them. Given his submissive behavior right before that, I would have expected him to try and put some space between himself and the other lions, not get closer.

That is absolutely incredible, what a smart little bugger Fang is. Appears he took a beating, and fell back on the old adage, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Only thing is will they accept him after having fought him so many times. Will be interesting if we are able to follow this drama. Thank you very much for that update @Nyers , it is very helpful my friend!

After re-watching that video I am a little confused, the narrator at first states that it is Olalashe, but then states that it is not Olalashe, stating it is a lion who is unknown to him. I am unfamilair with Olalashe, so I have no idea if it is him or not, but that dark maned male is really massive, and is causing pure chaos among all the animals on that plain with his testosterone filled rage. He leaves no doubt as to who is in charge.

Btw, I absolutely love that narrator, he is great to listen to, you can tell he fully enjoys his job by the way he gets so excited by what he is seeing. We could all hope that we enjoy our jobs as much as this man does, not to mention he has one of the coolest jobs around.

The narrator was a bit confused since Olalashe typically has a blonder mane. He’s only six or seven so it might be darkening. This whole interaction was fascinating and rarely seen of a male trying to join a coalition. You can tell the youngest male really just wanted to keep the peace (he’s only 4... young to be a territorial male and probably why he wasn’t as aggressive). Other interesting fact is that the Kitchwa Males (Fang) killed Olalashe’s brother when they were younger. That would make it even more fascinating if he end up joining up with Olalashe.

Ah, ok, thank you for clarifying @Gijima Well, all I can say for certain is that Olalashe is enormous, and that Fang is showing himself to be quite resilient, especially if he gets accepted. Even the narrator believed we were about to witness his demise, but the exact opposite occurred.
