Help identifying please - Maliboo - 02-16-2017 [attachment=733]hi can anyone help identify please. Upper canine? Thanks RE: Help identifying please - GrizzlyClaws - 02-17-2017 The tooth doesn't look very intact, but I guess it should belong to a upper canine tooth of a smallish tiger. RE: Help identifying please - Maliboo - 02-20-2017 Anyone want to take a guess? Carved, old pieces seem like they could be a number of things...thanks RE: Help identifying please - GrizzlyClaws - 02-21-2017 It is way too deformed into the carved sculpture. All I can say it belongs as the big cat canine teeth, notably tiger's, but some key characteristics to distinguish lion and tiger are beyond recognition, but I would still take my chance on tiger's. Do you believe these may be an upper and lower tiger canine left to right? Thanks again. RE: Help identifying please - GrizzlyClaws - 03-01-2017 Again, it is too carved, but if you want me to take a guess, then I would say yes. |
